The Language Practitioner is accountable for checking changes from client, proofreading, editing, language adaptation, spell checks, and quality control of all printed and digital jobs against client-supplied copy within the negotiated timelines.
Relevant BA/Honours degree in English, Linguistics, or Journalism.
Three to five years’ commercial experience gained in a similar position as a language practitioner.
Microsoft Office suite with an Advanced Level in Word.
Advantageous: Previous experience in the financial industry or in a corporate environment. Experience in working with annual reports. Proofreading in a digital environment.
Not negotiable: Able to work after hours. Own reliable transport.
